Tires and running gear
- Check tire pressure, tread and visible age or damage.
- Confirm wheel lugs, bearings, suspension and coupler condition.
- Test brake lights, turn signals and electric brakes.
- Verify the breakaway system and safety chains.
Interior
- Secure cabinets, drawers, appliances and loose belongings.
- Remove valuables and fragile personal property.
- Disconnect utilities and close propane valves.
- Check for fluid or water leaks.
Motorhomes
- Confirm the battery can start the engine reliably.
- Check engine oil, coolant, tires and warning lights.
- Provide keys and note operating instructions.
